PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: [22/01/2026]

1. Introduction and Scope
Welcome to ENIBUSINESS®. This Privacy Policy constitutes a legal document detailing how ENIBUSINESS® ("we," "us," or "our") collects, processes, stores, and protects your personal data. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy in compliance with global regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). By accessing our Platform, attending meetings, or using our services, you explicitly consent to the data practices described herein.

2. Comprehensive Data Collection
To provide our specialized business networking services, we collect distinct categories of data. This collection is necessary for the performance of our contract with you and for our legitimate business interests.

  • Identity and Contact Data: We collect personally identifiable information (PII) including but not limited to your full legal name, professional email address, phone number, physical location (City/Country), and business entity details.
  • Professional Profile Data: To facilitate business matching, we collect data regarding your profession, industry sector, company website, and a professional biography ("About Me"). This information is publicly visible to other members to foster networking.
  • Technical and Usage Data: We automatically collect digital fingerprints, including Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser type and version, time zone settings, operating system, and platform data. This helps us prevent fraud, ensure account security, and optimize platform performance.
  • Financial Transaction Data: When you pay for a Guest Invitation or Annual Membership, we process payment information. Note that sensitive financial data (e.g., full credit card numbers) is handled directly by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) and is not stored on our servers.

3. Advanced Meeting Data & AI Processing
A core feature of ENIBUSINESS® is the use of Artificial Intelligence to enhance business connectivity. By participating in video or audio meetings, you acknowledge and agree to the following intensive data processing:

  • Audio and Video Recording: Meetings held within the Platform are recorded. These recordings capture your voice, image, and presentation materials.
  • AI Transcription and Analysis: We utilize third-party enterprise AI providers (such as Google AI Studio, OpenAI, or similar) to process these recordings. This processing generates automated text transcripts, executive summaries, and sentiment analysis.
  • Business Intelligence Matching: The data derived from your meeting participation is analyzed by algorithms to identify potential business synergies, generate "Business Compatibility Scores," and suggest relevant connections within the network.

4. Purpose of Data Processing
We process your personal data for specific, lawful purposes:

  • Service Delivery: To create your account, manage your "Guest" or "Member" status, and provide access to specific business groups.
  • Algorithmic Matching: To calculate compatibility between members and suggest high-value business referrals based on your profile and meeting activity.
  • Security and Reliability: To verify your identity, monitor "Reliability Scores" (based on attendance and punctuality), and detect fraudulent or malicious activity.
  • Communication: To send transactional emails (invoices, meeting links) and critical service updates.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share your data with trusted third parties under strict confidentiality agreements:

  • Service Providers: We transmit data to cloud hosting providers (o2switch, DigitalOcean), security vendors (Cloudflare), and AI processing partners for the sole purpose of operating the Platform.
  • Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred as a business asset, subject to the continuity of this Privacy Policy.

6. International Data Transfers
ENIBUSINESS® operates globally. Your data may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ. Specifically, data may be processed in France (EU) and the United States. We ensure that appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place to protect your data during such transfers.

7. Data Security and Retention
Security Measures: We employ industry-standard SSL encryption for data in transit and robust access controls for data at rest. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention Policy: We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Meeting recordings and transcripts may be retained for a specific period to generate summaries and history before being archived or deleted in accordance with our data lifecycle policy.

8. User-Generated Content
Please be aware that any information you voluntarily disclose in public channels, group chats, or live meetings becomes available to other members. ENIBUSINESS® is not responsible for how other members use the information you choose to share in these open forums. We advise you to exercise caution when sharing sensitive proprietary information.

9. Your Rights (GDPR & Global)
You possess specific rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: You may request correction of any incomplete or inaccurate data.
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You may request the deletion of your personal data, provided there are no overriding legal grounds for us to retain it (e.g., for tax or legal defense purposes).
  • Right to Restrict Processing: You may ask us to suspend the processing of your data in certain scenarios.

To exercise these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at contact@enibusiness.com.

10. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
